DS10 problem
|
|
|
I have 2 DS10s in a 2 member TruCluster 5.1A setup. They are hooked up to
a UPS that provides extended run time in the event of a power
failure. Last weekend, we needed to replace the batteries in the UPS and
due to the lack of space, we needed to shut everything down in order to
get the huge batteries in and out of the computer area. Despite carefully
halting the DS10s, after everything was powered back on, one of the DS10s
will not come back up. Upon power on, the amber "Environmental" LED (Left
most light on the front panel) blinks 12 times and then the console begins
printing over and over the following:
System Event Frame at 60c8, System-specific portion at 60e0
60e0 : 00000000.00000000
60e8 : 00000000.00000000
60f0 : ffffffff.ffffffff
60f8 : ffffffff.ffffffff
6100 : 00000000.00000000
6108 : 00000000.00000000
6110 : 00000000.00000000
6118 : 00000000.00000000
6120 : 00000000.00000000
All repeated over and over.
Does anyone know what this means ?
Thanks for any information,
Dirk |

I have two DS10s in a lab of 8 machines that are exhibiting this. The machines were shut down cleanly when we went onto Battery backup (building wide system) during a recent power outage. These two machines did not come back up when power was restored. Hooking a VT terminal up to the console port gets this same series of messages repeated over and over.
Can anyone help resolve the problem |
