HELP ON HASHING

I am trying to create a hash.cpp with hash.h file. COuld any one help with this by showing me some code for these files. I am looking for two files that have a class for the hash table and then a class for the hash data members. The hash.cpp will hash a file with data fields like this "HEUSER TRACEY 3117622694 134321 M" it will hash the table by the last name and store the whole record in the table. Thanks again for your help. I know some master C++ programer could whip out this code in like 5 min. lol
