ATI 9550
|
|
|
I picked up a video card made by Diamond and using the Radeon 9550 chipset.
Is there a problem with that chipset and Linux?
Diamond does not appear to support Linux (wish I had looked at that before I
bought) so I downloaded the ATI 8500 and above drivers. Everything works
okay, just no 3D.
Any pointers?

This is pretty much what I did with a radeon 9600 card last week, and the
instructions worked fine.

It let me use the 3D too.
