2 USB webcams on Linux 2.6.15.4 produce a hang
|
|
|
Hi,
I was trying to use 2 Philips USB webcams on 2 standard ports of Linux
2.6.15.4. But the laptop simply hangs if I connect second webcam.
There seems to be some major issue in USB stack of Linux.
I am using spca5xx.ko driver and spcaview, camstream as video
player/capturer.
If anybody has faced the same issue, or have any solution please let me
know.
Thanks in advance. |

Not really.

Check with 'lsusb' that both cams are not using the same USB bus,
which sounds like your problem.
