Quick Question : How to enable "lpsched" in solaris 10
|
|
|
Hi,
We are running Solaris 10 (118822-30). Our lp printer scheduler
"lpsched" just disappeared for an unknown reason. How to you enable
lpsched in Solaris 10 ? Also, how does one automatically startup
lpsched during boot up ? In Solaris 8, lpsched starts up in the rc
script.
Thanks,
Humphrey |

'man lpsched' has the following in the notes section:
NOTES
The lpsched service is managed by the service management
facility, smf(5), under the service identifier:
svc:/application/print/server
So you could do:
svcadm enable print/server
