Both programs are working on my system I hope in yours to:

bmon network traffic monitor. Watch it here in action:
http://korgman.is-a-geek.net/htm/bmon/korgi.1.bytes.s.html

davfs2. Normally you have easy access with Konqueror in address webdav://TheAddressYouWant but you can mount with this program the remote "drive" in your file system!
Works with libneon-0.24.5

I am a newbie so: please report any mistakes I 'v made!

The packages are here:
http://korgman.is-a-geek.net/tgz/korgman_tgz.php

The email address is fake on my webpage, but not here..

Which davfs2 is this?

I myself am using wdfs which uses the FUSE subsystem in recent kernels (fuse
was introduced in vanilla kernels as of 2.6.14). Works pretty well

WDFS home page:
http://noedler.de/projekte/wdfs/

Some other FUSE filesystems:
http://fuse.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/FileSystems
I can also recommend SMBNetFS and EncFS

Looks good! I wonder if they have some advantages or disadvantages to compare them.
