understanding submission mode / sender:-header not added
|
|
|
Hello,
using 4.62 it seems I've a problem understanding the submission mode.
The details:
begin acl
acl_check_rcpt:
accept hosts = :
accept authenticated = *
add_header = X-Debug: $authenticated_id@$qualify_domain
control = submission
<snip>
The client uses SMTP-Authentication, logs in "heiko" but sends
"MAIL FROM: hans@cms.de" (envelope sender) and a "From: hans@cms.de"
line.
The envelope from gets changed to a return path of "heiko@cms.de".
The From:-line survivies as "hans@cms.de". Both seems to be correct
behaviour.
But now I'm missing a Sender:-line, since the return path doesn't match
the From:-line. As far as I understand 43.16 in the specs.
Please could somebody point me to the part of the specs I didn't read or
I have to read again?
Best regards from Dresden
Viele Grüße aus Dresden
