Hello all,

I am thinking of getting a MacBook Pro primarily because it has an Intel
Core Duo (among other stuff). Has anyone tried installing OpenSUSE 10.1 on
it? I found this article,
http://forums.suselinuxsupport.de/lofiversion/index.php/t40792.html, which
says the a new kernel needs to be compiled for it. Is this still the case
or has SUSE's kernel been updated with the appropriate MacBook Pro patches?

Also, can anyone confirm that ATI's linux driver will work in OpenSUSE 10.1
on the MacBook Pro?

Any info on installing OpenSUSE 10.1 on a MacBook would be greatly
appreciated!

Thank you,

Alvin
