Hi,

Using Solaris11 with the latest nvidia driver
I have one PCI_express PX6500 which produces 1730 glxgears
FPS
and one AGP 8X A400 GeForce 6800 which does 5700 glxgears
FPS

Yes the 6800 was twice the price of the 6500
Both PC's have 2.4 Ghz Athlon 64 CPU's

the 6500 is on an Nforce 4 chipset.
the 6800 is on a VIA K8T800pro chipset.

What FPS rates do you get from /usr/X11/demo/glxgears ?

81332 frames in 5.0 seconds = 16266.400 FPS

AGP 8X, Quadro FX3000, Dual 2.4 gig (W2100z)

I am of course required to point out "GLXGEARS IS NOT A BENCHMARK" or
X.Org will take away my secret modeline decoder ring and membership
card.
