Hi,

I'm using Postfix with Cyrus Imapd. If there's a
bounce mail because the user has reached the quota,
the bounce message to the sender will contain the
internal email user. For example, if I send to
jim.worke@mydomain.com, and that email address is
aliased to jimworke, the bounce error gives jimworke,
rather than jim.worke@mydomain.com.

Can canonical maps help in this? I'm afraid to mess
with the production server, and would like
confirmation from the list...

Do it the other way. make jimworke an alias for jim.worke@xxx.
