Hi,

I can't for the life of me find documentation on the
generic postfix daemon options. Where does this live?

(Would be nice if whereever was a see-also in the
daemon man pages....)

The generic options are Postfix internal.

The public options are documented in

http://www.postfix.org/master.5.html
