Process Software is now shipping PMDF V6.3. We have determined that
the previously mentioned problem is specific to Integrity systems, and
we are working with HP to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your patience!

If by the "Previous mentioned problem" you mean Mark Berryman's directory

creation problem then his post would tend to suggest it is an Alpha rather than
Integrity system problem.

I thought I'd try out PMDF now that it is available via the hobbyist
license. I have installed PMDF V6.2 on a VMS 8.2 Alpha where all disks
are ODS5 disks. I installed and configured PMDF and tried to send a

No, I'm referring to a different problem that I posted about last week
when I announced that PMDF V6.3 shipping was delayed. It's a
performance issue that's limited to Integrity.

Hunter,

has the hobbyist download been updated to allow downloading of PMDF 6.3 ?

Also can this download also be used by commercial companies ie is it exactly
the same. If I download the hobbyist version for my home use would I be able to
use the same distribution on my systems at work rather than having to wait for
the CDs to arrive ?

The kits are the same.

Also does the hobbyist PMDF license PAK allow use of PMDF-TLS ?
On the commercial offerening I know it is a separate license but what is the
position for hobbyists ?

It's not an auto-generated PAK, but anyone wanting a hobbyist PMDF-TLS
license can email me directly.
