Mounting LSM volume - Getting "marked as unused" Error
|
|
|
When I try to mount my LSM volume, I get the following message:
Error: partition /dev/vol/rootdg/v_data1/ is marked as 'unused'.
When I do a volprint the volume is marked ENABLED and ACTIVE, so it
looks like it should work, but my LSM volume fails to mount during
boot.
What am I doing wrong and what is the fix?
I am using Tru64 UNIX version 5.1B on an ES-40.
Thanks,
Ted Schuler |

mkfset ?
With a LSM volume you are just not there yet. You need to create a
filedomain and one ore more advfs filesets.
