Packages downloading
|
|
|
Hi everybody:
Is there any way to download one package (.tgz) and ALL its
dependencies with no install the packages on some machine?
Is there any tool to do it? maybe some pkg_add parameter??
Best regards,

I can't see that's possible with a single command.
cd pkgsrc-directory/package-directory
make fetch-list ......
That's for pkgsrc and you can find details in pkgsrc.txt
For packages:
pkg_add -n pkg-name or path-to-package
That doesn't install but lists steps taken.
pkg_info -n installed-pkg-name or path-to-package
Gives list of dependencies.
