ssh and the login sequence
|
|
|
hello,
I have some Octane{,2} indigo{,2} and indy all with IRIX 6.5.11.
I try to understand the login sequence throw telnet and ssh (v3.7.1p2)
to control my env variables.
After some tests i found that with telnet the sequence is:
1/ /etc/profile
2/ .bash_profile
But with ssh, I found this :
1/ ???? unknown file that print motd
2/ /etc/profile
3/ .bash_profile
My question is: what is the first script executed in ssh context ?
annexes questions:
(by the way, are my sequences of login correct ?)
(what about .bashrc ?) |

sshd itself has an option to print out motd . |
