My dual 180MHz O200 refused to boot up on Christmas morning after an
extended power outage depleted my UPS' battery. It would only boot up
after I turned off the power to the Clariion disk array (10 drives, two
5-disk stripes) attached to it.

It appears to have problems when trying to probe the disks for XVM
labels. If I power on the drives after the system has booted and do a
'scsiha -p 4' it sees all 10 drives, but 'probe'ing the drives in the
command-line xvm manager locks the system up and I have to push the
power button on the front to restart it, and it happens if I have just 5
disks or all 10.

I don't think it's the HBA, as I'm able to see all 10 disks after the
'scsiha' command, and I find it hard to believe that it's the drives -
all 10 can't have died at the same time (could they?)

How can I get this system to recognise the drives again? I uploaded the
summary, analysis and fru files to http://smharr4.dnsalias.net/error/ if
they'll be of any help to anyone.

Are you runing 6.5.28? I take notice about problems when using XVM GUI
to probe or modifing the disk labels of my FC arrays disks. System crash
all the time than. This happens on o2k and o200.

No, I'm one level behind - 6.5.27, and using the xvm command-line
utility to probe for labels, not the GUI.
