On two separate machines (an O350 and an O300) I have
identical third party RAIDs that show up with their
VOLHDR (partition Cool the same size as the entire
volume (partition 10). Attempts to resize this or
rewrite the label give the error

fx/exit: Error: Invalid argument: Driver update failed!
fx/exit: Error: Invalid argument: label write failed!

Another drive just like this but installed a few months
ago on an O3900 works fine. All are 16 drive systems with
fibrechannel to the host. All are configured with logical
drive partitions of 2TB or less. Individual logical drives
can be mounted and used directly, but logical volume
definition requires a correct volhdr.
