fax problems

I have this neat fax program that I used on mandrake called
efax-gtk. I switched to SuSE and tried to use it, but I keep
getting an error, can't open serial port /dev/ttyS1: Permission
denied. However, it works fine if I start it as a Super User.
Is there a way to make the serial port availabe to all users?.
I am using SuSe 92 with kernel 2.68 Thanks for your help. |

Could just be the permissions.
chmod o+rw /dev/ttyS1
as root
