Hello at all,
i have a notebook with ati radeon 9600 mobility and i have downloaded
the new driver from ATI homepage for Xorg 6.8 but after install it i
can't enable the 3d option, anyone can help me to enable it,thanks.

Did you run fglrx_config as root?
Did you get any errors?

Use the SuSE-package and follow the instructions in the README. You can find
the package for example here:

ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/ftp.suse.com/suse/i386/supplementary/X/ATI
