RESEARCH ALERTS-Prudential raises rating on Novell
Thu Feb 3, 2005 12:00 PM ET

NEW YORK, Feb 3 (Reuters) - Prudential on Thursday raised its rating on
Novell Inc. (NOVL.O: Quote, Profile, Research) to "neutral" from
"underweight," saying it does not foresee its shares trading far below
current levels due to its current strong balance sheet.

Prudential has a $7 price target on the stock.
