I have been working in the webhosting community for a couple of years
as a Linux system administrator. I do technical work on several
servers. I was more self-taught on how to run use Linux more than
anything. I am by no means a heavy, advanced user, but I am also not a
beginner. Lately I've been considering certification programs. I know
Windows has (or had) the MSCE program for Windows systems and I believe
Redhat used to have a certification program. What would be a good
certification program to look into? I do not have any certifications,
just the knowledge I've gained over the past few years. I just don't
really know where to start looking.

Are their any books that I should read to help my advancement? It
seems all the books I can find are either for users beginning in Linux
or Advanced users that I'm not quite up to yet. The beginning books
might have a thing or two in them that I do not know about, but not
really enough to warrant reading the entire book. If you can recommend
any books that might help in certain certification programs, that would
be helpful.

Thanks
