kernel panic at install

Hi,

I can read in the archives about this message, however I cannot find any
summary about the issue.

I'm installing Tru64 v5.1a on an AS1000 5/333
At cd boot the following happens:

trap: invalid memory read access from kernel mode
and then some hexadecimal addresses (faulting address etc)

What's happening?
