Hello,

Can anybody tell me whats the difference between an AlphaServer DS20E
and an AlphaStation DS20E? I emailed HP but they told me that aside
from the nameplate on the front of the door/bezel, the difference is in
the licensing that is pre-installed with the systems. There must be
other differences between the two like the price, performance and
configuration.

Price and Licenses. The distinction was a marketing one not a technical
one.

IRRC, the "station" also came with a video board, CRT and keyboard,

standard. These were optional on the "server"
