SASL2 + Sendmail

Hi :

¡@I try to install SASL2 + Sendmail on NetBSD 2.0.2
I want to use plain password,
if I must make install Linux-PAM before Saslauthd?
And if I must do any set with make install sendmail?

¡@Because the ports different with FreeBSD,
I can't see the freebsd docu for this complete,
so if someone can tell me the step or show me some info for this?
