There is no FixPak 11 for DB2 V8 yet. The most recent one is FP8.

sorry, i make the mistake.. currently i'm using the db2 version 8.2..
db2 version 8.2 (Sun Solaris 7)
when i try to update use the FixPak 11 db2admin start, it hangs..
i have done an dasiupdt on our DAS and i can do it for the 1st time. then
it's hang for the subsequently ...
why this will happen.. and what should i do to solve this problem??
ps: Help!!!

DB2 Version 6 is out of service for years already. Have you considered
moving to the current version, i.e. V8?
