Yaa when I ran the Test suite using "tclsh84g.exe" that I built from
the source it is not crashing. The test suite seem to be running fine
so far. The problem earlier was that I linked correctly with tcl
library that I build earlier but was using tclsh84.exe provided by
cygwin.
- Thanks Michael

Hi Meenakshi,

find
package.

Can you copy and paste the error that occurs?
One thing to be aware of: we have found it necessary to build Tcl from
source to run the test suite. For some reason, the binary installs of
Tcl that we have tried have resulted in difficult-to-debug errors.
Regards,
Michael. |

Test Suite crash with latest Berkeley DB 4.3.27 on Windows XP (Visual Studio .net (Development Environment 2003))

Hello,
I downloaded the latest Berkley DB version 4.3.27 along with the
following recommended patches:
db-4.3.27.NC.zip (8.1MB)
patch.4.3.27.1
patch.4.3.27.2
patch.4.3.27.3
Everything got built successfully on Windows XP using Visual Studio
..net (Development Environment 2003).
On running the Test Suite through command - source ../test/test.tcl
using tcl 8.4 it gave me an exception. I think it is somewhere in find
package.
Any suggestions,
Thanks,
Meenakshi |
