I have an Indigo2 IRIX 6.2 Power Extreme Graphics, but NO monitor. Is
there any way to make up a cable from the Indigo2 and use a VGA
monitor?

I do have a monitor that takes R G B via BNC connections and I have
been using the Indigo2 via Reflextion X connected on my Network via
a laptop. But as you know, graphics/gui's are absent
Any help would be appreciated.

You can get a 13w3 adapter on eBay for around $10. That should work
with most PC monitors (I've never had any problems).

Just search for 13w3.

The BNC RGB thing should be fine unless there are 2 more BNCs on it
labeled HSYNC and VSYNC - then it will most probably not work.

Getting an adaptor from 13W3 to HDSUB15 (VGA) is only one part,
much more important is that your monitor is able to accept RGB+SOG
(SOG = Sync On Green).

If not you may want some additional hardware in that adaptor.
Note that SUN and SGI machines both have 13W3 connectors but differ.

Adaptors/Converters of all kind are available at www.ultraspec.com,
the one you might want is a 1395-sgi .

It seems to me you should have Monitor with option "sync on green"...
