I've no doubt you have a point but what it is escapes me.
Struts
Hibernate
ADF
It doesn't matter. Most Java based projects don't need Java
and would cost less if coded in the appropriate front-end
tool.

We (two developers) are beginning to work on a medium sized project
and we have to decide which technology to use.
We must develop an internet application and we have the choice
between:
- Pure Java - Oracle webforms
We have extensive experience with Java but almost none with webforms
(PL/SQL and oracle are no problem).
Can someone with experience with both highlight for me the advantages
and disadvantages of the two technologies?
Thanks in advance,

Lack of security
Lack of scalability
Lack of performance
Dependence on Windows
First four reasons I can think of.
