FastT200 74Gb disk problem

We recently purchased a exp500 expansion shelf with 10 74Gb disks. The disks
(ibm part no 07N4597)are 2GB fibre Ultrastar IC35L07 (manufactured by
hitachi). Firmware on these disks is at F588

When attempting to attach to a Fastt200 all the disks come up marked failed
when viewed through storage manager. We've also tried to attach to a
FastT500 with similar results.

I've tried to install the latest disk firmware v1.42 but all the disks
listed are the Seagate manufactured disks ST3XXXXX.

Are these Hitachi disks compatible in FAstts??
