Hello All,

I have received Two new Server's (Intel) for ma Server Room, I am
running SQUID Cache Server and Qmail Rocks Mail Server on two
different sytem previously.

Now I want to shift the Whole Installation to the New Servers, But the
problem is that new one,s are with different specs. I am confuz
whether I should take Images of both the installation are some thing
else ?

thanks in advance.

Hi

The last time I had to do this I just booted the new servers from a
rescue disk / cd (you might even take knoppix), partitioned the hard
drives, mounted them and rsynced the new servers with the old ones. Of
course after this you have to make sure, that you load all necessary
modules, etc.

Regards

Marcel
