Ha!
Well, I download the latest ndiswrapper distributions,
1.0 and 1.1rc1 and found USB support! I guess I
should've been using the latest in the first place!

I forgot to mention that this script should live
in /usr/sbin/, like ndiswrapper.

ndiswrapper for USB devices
|
|
|
After examining the ndiswrapper script, I noticed that it was
very PCI card-centric. That is, it was designed to handle
PCI cards only, not USB devices. After a bit of work, I
produced this:
http://www.geocities.com/linuxvinh/ndiswrapper_usb.html
It's a modified version of the ndiswrapper script for USB
devices. The original code is intact but commented out
where necessary. I only added more code.
Before, using ndiswrapper:
# ndiswrapper -i <path to>/netwg111.inf
# ls /etc/ndiswrapper/netwg111/
netwg111.inf
# ndiswrapper -l
Installed ndis drivers:
netwg111
After, using ndiswrapper_usb:
# ndiswrapper_usb -i <path to>/netwg111.inf
# ls /etc/ndiswrapper/netwg111/
0846:4220.conf
0846:4240.conf
netwg111.inf
wg111nd5.sys
# ndiswrapper -l
Installed ndis drivers:
netwg111 present (when the USB device is plugged in;
otherwise "present" is not there)
-----
I hope this helps someone out! If you can, please help me
out... please search for the "WG111" thread. I need
some help!
Thanks,
