Does that mean you do not want to tell me?

It means if you have to be told, it's all wasted time.

If you can not be botherd to explain, I can not be botherd by what you
write.

plonk

It bothered you enough to reply. LMFAO

Personally, I think most sports fans are a little "gay". They'd
rather watch a bunch of sweaty guys jumping all over eachother,
than, say fashion TV - where hot models walk down the runway.

Thanks for the note, kastorff. Although I don't visit
the site often, As a newbie, I have been helped
immensely a few times, not necessarily because I was
looking for a solution. I was just wandering about there
and found useful bits and pieces.

What? I am reading Usenet here.

If you read this over some lame webinterface, get a clue, drop the link
to Usenet and start your own thing. This is Usenet and what happens on
websites is of NO concern here.

If you have a SUSE related problem, please let us know and we try to
help. If you have a problem with a website, don't bore us with it.

You read it wrongly Houghi...and badly. Go re-read it again, slower, so you
don't go jumping to conclusions again and saying bad things about a situation
that *doesn't* need anything bad said about it at all, like your post just
did.

Tell me how I read it wrong.

Thanks for posting this - it would have been less understandable if I
had simply visited the old site not knowing.
(more comment on the new site, and good luck)

Keith;

Thanks for dropping a note about the status of the forum. I hadn't
known about it until your post and find it *very* useful.

Tell me how I read it wrong. They are talking about taking down some
servers. As far as I understand these are servers with some kind of
content on it in a forum and webbased way.

This is Usenet, so whatever webserver they take down will have no
influence on what happens on Usenet, exept for perhaps some fewer
postings.

I fail to see how this is relevant to this group. I have a website about
SUSE as well and if I put it up as a discusion board and then later like
to take it down, I still fail to see how that would be relevant to this
group.

Certainly not. Not those servers you talk about

What happens in the SuSE community is of interest here, although I would
agree from a general standpoint that USENET and the web are very
different environments and cultures.

Why thank you, but my SuSE machines are running pretty well right now. I
will remember your offer of help in the future. I really only had some
information I needed to make sure was available to those that might be
interested. I fully expected that a lot of folks wouldn't care one way or
the other. I have the same reaction to a lot of the posts I read here.
