random timeout / delivery temporarily suspended
|

|
Hi
I am actually using 2 Debian Etch servers with Postfix/Amavis/Spamassassin/Clamav for filtering incoming mail on our datacenter before sending them to Exchange Servers.
I have been using them without any probleme since a few months
But since a few days, one of theses servers has got a strange problem. During 10 to 30 minutes, it does not relay mails anymore. It accept incoming mails, but they are put in the deferred queue.
And after a while, it does send all mails with success. It does run OK during maybe 1 hour then, and it happens again. Not delivering mails during 10 to 30 minutes, and then sending them again.
Problem is that mails are delayed and that's not really a good thing for our customers.
Example of log :
Jun 13 14:16:07 reiphmcsmtp02 postfix/qmgr[15051]: 7363B5FE65: to=<lumpy075a@trucmuche.com>, relay=none, delay=0.56, delays=0.52/0.03/0/0, dsn=4.4.2, status=deferred (delivery temporarily suspended: conversation with 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1] timed out while sending end of data -- message may be sent more than once)
here is the postfix master.cf
