I am backing up a folder (/u111/oracle) from a source machine (SA) using
"vdump". I wish to restore a folder down its tree structure
(/u111/oracle/a/b/c/d) to another machine (TA) using "vrestore", but to
another target folder instead of the original one (say, under
/u112/home/appl). How do I achieve this (using the -xv parameter as I
want this restore to be executed from a script)? Also, I want to ensure
that the original file permissions, owner and group are retained when
doing this restore.

I would appreciate if someone could provide me the exact "vrestore"
command that I should use and ensuring that the permissions, owner,
group, etc. are retained. Thanks in advance.
