Error on libapr-1.dll with Apache version 2.2.22 on Win XP

I have the same problem exactly

Hi fellows,

I just installed Apache V. 2.2.2 on Win-XP SP2.

The installation procedure went well without any error messages.
But now when I try to start the service, the service wont' start and an
application event log has been created.

This entry has the following message:

Snippet: >>>>
Faulting application httpd.exe, version 2.2.2.0, faulting module
libapr-1.dll, version 1.2.7.0, fault address 0x000038bc.
<<<< end snippet.

Did I do something wrong?

I installed before older version of Apache (2.0.54) on Win-NT a few
times and it was always successful.

Any help is much appreciated.
