Is there an updated howto for configuring hostap using a wireless card
capable of 802.11b/g?

http://netbsd.org/Documentation/network/wavelan.html seems to indicate that
any of the listed cards can be configured as an access point, but the cited
"See also" http://www.muine.org/~hoang/netap.html indicates that only a
subset using the Intersil Prism chip can be configured as a hostap, and
those only capable of 802.11b.

I'd appreciate any guidance in the matter.
