Hi gents, I hope I can explain my problem clearly.
When a important event happens in my N4000, root account recieves an
e-mail. (the same with oracle and ERP accounts)
So once I log-in I get this notification "you have X new mails".
As some of the mails are quite important (disk issues an other
related) I wondered if any of you can tell me an easy way to
redirect/get this emails in my workstation.
I have Sendmail service instaled and working.
Thanks to you all in advance I'm new in HP-UX and this will help lot.
Sako,
vi /etc/aliases
add or change the line like this
root:..what ever is already there..., user@yourworkstation
or
root:..what ever is already there..., user@yourworkstations-ipaddress
Kind regards,

My workstation is a Win XP , so I want o use Outlook /Exchange for
this purpose.
As soon as I achieve it I'll tell you, if there is anything else
just tell me.
Thanks a lot for your support.

Is your workstation HP-UX (or some other Unix/Linux)? If so, you'll need to
properly configure sendmail to receive mail - most are now configured to
disallow this by default.
If your workstation is something like Win XP, using Outlook/Exchange you can
probably just "relay" the email there.
In either case, you'll want to either use the aliases as another poster
mentioned, or else create a $HOME/.forward file for each user who's mail you
want to forward.
More information about your workstation will be helpful...
