I am still trying to create a linked server on SQL Server 2005 x64 to ASE
12.5.x databases. It looks like Sybase does have a driver to do this but I
can't download the EBF. Can someone send me EBF13357 if possible?

Thanks,
Rocco M.

Have you tried going to this link:

http://downloads.sybase.com/swd/base.do?client=support

Then entering '13357' in the box (near the top) labelled " Search for a
specific EBF/MR #"

Yes, but I get "You have selected a download which requires a Technical
Support Contact registered with MySybase. Please register your Technical
Support Contact at: Edit Roles."

When a "Technical Support Contact" I know attempted to download it, he
couldn't since this EBF is not in the 12.5.x developer kit. It's only in
the 15.0 kit.

Run it past your Sybase sales rep ... they should be able to get someone at
sybase.com to look into the technical issuses surrounding the failed
download ... or perhaps they can get the EBF forwarded properly. (The file
is something like 64MB in size, with legal conditions tied to it ... so
probably not a good idea to just 'forward' it to anyone asking for it ...
not to mention many email systems may choke on that large of a file.)
