Brasso is a mild abrasive and is good for polishing up shiny things. The
Indigo2, however, has a textured surface so using such a product would yield
much less useful results.

Hi folks,

I've been considering picking up a used Indigo2 for a hobby machine
(mostly out of nostalgia), but I notice that many of them on eBay seem
to have heavily scratched up cases. I was wondering if anyone could
suggest a way to clean these up and make them a bit more presentable?

There was a thread on this subject almost exactly one year ago in this
newsgroup. Some of the info from it may help you.

I seem to remember reading somewhere recently about using Brasso to
polish out scratches on the new iPod Nano's, and I was particularly
interested in whether anyone had tried this with any degree of success
on an I2 case?

Any suggestions are much appreciated!
