Hi,

when I mount an NFS disk from a Tru64 server on my

SGI Octane with "mount" it works but I get the warning

"mount:server <server name> does not provide support

for any security mode, will use default even if

it violates RFC 2623"

I am not sure what RFC 2623 means here and how I can fix this.

I can guess that this is a problem of the Dec server and not the

SGI but so far my SGI is the only machine that's noticing the

problem.

Thanks,

Lothar
