TiVos run Linux, but they don't run a regular Linux distribution, such as
Debian or SuSE. In some sense, the most accurate answer to your question
is "TiVo;" it's very unlike any desktop or server Linux distribution.
Oh, and FWIW, recent TiVos don't use PPC CPUs; it's only the
long-since-discontinued Series 1 models that have PPC CPUs.
