You tell your app to use the UTF-8 library of fonts.
Tried it few times but the results were not consistent so had to put my
Mozilla/Netscape browsers in the Hebraic Windows font and "almost"
everything is perfect.
This IS Linux, spice your "gefilte fish" till you hit the taste
remembered from "mama's kitchen".

Send your file manager to heder/ulpan (chose any) to learn to respond to |
hebrew fonts.
My Mozilla/Netscape displays perfectly .eml files created in MS-Word in
Holy language, not so in .doc's.
BTW, the HOWTO's on going Semitic are of very little help, most of them
are ancient, but they show you the general direction.
A querry: Is the above happening in Linux or in your posting tool Xtra
Problems (XP for short).
