Any chance of getting a Medion TV-Tuner 7134 pcmcia card running?
|

|
Hello!
i have received whilst buying my laptop (Medion Sim 2010) a Pcmcia TV
card, with the mention Medion TV-Tuner 7134.
There seems ot be a saa7134 chipset inside...
i tried:
modprobe saa7134 card=13 tuner=1
but in the /var/log/messages i get only:
Linux video capture interface: v1.00
saa7130/34: v4l2 driver version 0.2.12 loaded
and nothing more....
no /dev/video* devices that xawtv or tvtime could use....
what's frustrating is that whilst working with e.g. CF-adaptercard, the
PCMCIA system doesn't have any reaction with the insertion of the
TV-card.... (i tested it under windows, it still works...)
So i don't know how to make a proper hook in the pcmcia system for
this....
any hint, or anything i could provide to solve this?
