I am looking at putting off the shelf SEAGATE scsi drives into a TP900
enclosure. Does anyone know if I have to use drives from SGI or will
the off the shelf drives work?

Thanks

Off-the-shelf drives will "work", but you better have proper mode page

settings and an appropriate firmware release. If you don't, you risk
performace problems at best case, or data loss/lockups at worst case.
